Friend of the Foundation Award

This award is given to an individual or business that has made an extraordinary contribution of time, money, and/or resources to the Foundation over the years. The CDF Board acts as both nominating and selection committee for this award.

2026 Friend of the Foundation

Linda Meyer & Fredia Helbert

The CDF recognized two former CDF trustees who spent many years on the CDF Board as well as past service on SHAV boards. The 2026 Friend of the Foundation awards went to Fredia Helbert and Linda Meyer. Fredia served on the SHAV Board as VP Audiology (2007-2009) and on the CDF Board (2005-2024). Linda served as SHAV VP for Clinical Affairs (1989-1991), as President Elect (1991-1992), President (1992-1994), Past President (1994-1996), VP Public Relations and Communication (1996-2000) and on the CDF board from 2009 -2025. We thank them both for all the years of support on the CDF Board!
